How is the PROGRESS :)

HI MADSTers:
   How is everyone's holiday :) I just want to know what progress of our games now. I have done the in game UI stuff, there are timer, weakbar(health bar), skill UI and the day/night cycle scripts. The problem is there are no textures to cover them, so the UI just looks very poor, but they still can works anyway. The next things I will be focusing are menu and Hot-spring(health generator). I had few talks with Dean, that we just try to put skills and UI together ,these stuffs may be not enough for this Thursday meeting. Zzzz..Any better suggestions?

  1. i have done the very basic three skills. blackhole,push and blink, i will try improve these skills before the presentation.
    i'll have a talk with you abt how to make a black hole.
    and what we need to add on the skill.

  2. sounds good. Remember, our presentation isn't this Thursday, It's next Thursday 19th.
    So we still have some time. We're gonna have to meet up on wendesday 18th or something and put it all together.
    I'm going ok with the work, having trouble with transparency at the moment...but i'm writing scripts for it hoping it's going to work. rocks are modeled and ready to import. They are very high detail though...hopefully game can handle them.
    Everything seems to be going ok...but with this falling island stuff I'm still not sure. Thanks Dean for offering to help with it. but i think we implement this after 2nd presentation.

  3. Hmm,the Health generator is done , and I also finshed the in-game pause menu. Then I make a few change about the scripts of skillUI, it will be easy for you are artists to use, just do some pictures and drag them into these scripts.

  4. Sounds perfect, Miya has a lot of work to do so Ill do my best to get the enemies out of the way so I can start some makeshift UI pictures and stuff. I would love to continue this project to next semester so even if we don't finish UI we can do it next semester.
