UI ver.5

Now I import the character, and I add a avatarr camera on the top-left corner(hope our character will have a face..). For game more playable, I just disable the mouse arrow on the screen , but the mouseover function will become useless now, the player can not see the description of skills when they put mouse on the skills button. Do we keep it or you artists can make a new mouse arrow to instead the white one? And any suggestion for the camera angle?

  1. @Steph : Seems quality is different between yours, if you want render these texture to get high quality, just make sure the size must be the totally same.

  2. I will upload a simple texture of a cross-hair dream catcher to replace our mouse. Please read the other post in regards to the textures. Also, maybe you dont have a very good computer? :p all the colours seem very dull and lifeless.

    As for the camera, you need to raise it more over his head, more to the ground and zoom in slightly, you shouldnt have a wide scope like this, our map isnt big, so making the camera more short sided will make the map appear bigger, also make the game a little more difficult.

    FOR THE PORTRAIT:
    Ditch it, there is no need for it, we have a health bar.
    If you absolutely have to have something in the top left corner of the game, put a minimap there, or SAY that there will be a mini map there.

    Otherwise, I don't know what kind of effects the camera has until you place it into Unity Pro, you could probably put a small amount of bloom and a mist effect around the edges, to make it more dreamlike if you haven't already.

    1. It is cruel to say I got a poor laptop T-T..mine got i7-2670, 16gbRAM, GT560M 3GB.. I have no idea why the screen looks like "bleak" in my computer.. nenvermind, for the camera , I add 2 function to blur the view, so the player will feel in dreams, these only support by UnityPro. Also, I am working on a scripts that can make the screen smooth when the game finish, it feel likes wake up from dream, it maybe done in next semester. For the avatar camera part, that background color will be change when player in different situations, because our game is not depends on health only. Anyway, we will discuss all in Thursday, it is not hard to implement.
